The chilean blueberry season begins

Chile has officially launched its blueberry season, and expectations are optimistic. A 3.2% growth in blueberry exports is anticipated, projecting a total of 135,501 tons for the 2024/25 season. This growth reflects Chile’s consolidation as a leader in blueberry exports.

Blueberries are renowned for their numerous health benefits. They are rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, which help combat cellular aging, improve cardiovascular health, and strengthen the immune system. Additionally, their low-calorie content makes them an excellent addition to daily meals.

At Bayas del Sur, we work with blueberries in both concentrated juice and freeze-dried powder formats, which can be consumed in a variety of ways to meet different consumer needs. Our products offer a wide range of applications, from direct consumption to the preparation of desserts, smoothies, and nutraceutical products. These formats preserve the essential nutrients of blueberries and also extend their shelf life without compromising quality.

With this promising start to the season, Bayas del Sur is ready to collaborate with the best suppliers to produce high-quality products for our consumers.
