In a momentous step towards a more sustainable future, Bayas del Sur has become the first industrial customer in southern Chile to incorporate BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) battery technology, in collaboration with Saesa Innova. This innovative solution will allow the company to use clean energy during peak hours, optimising its production processes and significantly reducing its carbon footprint.

The inauguration of this energy system marks an important milestone in Bayas del Sur’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, two fundamental pillars that have guided the development of our company since its inception. Through this implementation, we seek not only to improve our operation, but also to contribute to the development of a more environmentally responsible industry, aligned with the global challenges of climate change.
