One of our most outstanding wild ingredients is Elderberry, which not only occurs in Europe, but also in Chile but with completely different characteristics and technical specifications.
The elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is one of the oldest trees that grows in cool and humid soils. Due to its multiple medicinal qualities, it has become known throughout the world and we can currently find it feral in the southern part of Chile, between the Araucania and Aysen regions.
